GOOD MORNING! TODAY IS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2018  DAY #37

 

Today’s lunch: Walking taco, lettuce, cheese, Mexican rice, goldfish, pears, and milk.

Tomorrow’s breakfast: Cereal with milk, poptart, blueberries, and juice.

Tomorrow’s lunch:. Corndogs, mac and cheese bites, green beans fruit cocktail and milk.

Gookin Ford in Story City will be hosting a DRIVE ONE 4UR SCHOOL Trick or Treat car show on Saturday, October 20th, from 10 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. All proceeds will be going to the Roland Story Schools. We will have candy, games, and prizes throughout the festival. Please wear your costumes. It takes less than 5 minutes for the test drive. Remember each person over 18 that drives a car earns a minimum of $20.00 for Norse Nation. Come out, and enjoy the festival!

 

The Roland Library invites you to write a spooooooooky story to share.  The story must be no more than 800 words. Age groups are K-4th grade and 5th grade and up. Stories may be submitted to the library until 7pm on October 22nd.  Winners will receive a prize and will be published in the Story City Herald on October 31st!

The hit family film The House With a Clock in its Walls will be presented Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Oct. 19, 20, 21, at the Story Theater in Story City IA.
