Just a reminder that we have a 1:30pm dismissal today and tomorrow.  Thursday is a conference day here at the elementary  and today is our usual dismissal time.


Today’s lunch: Cruncher cheese pizza, country trio vegetables, pears, and milk.

Tomorrow's breakfast: Cheese omelet, apple cinnamon muffin, fresh fruit, and milk.

Tomorrow's lunch: Turkey and bacon pita, baby carrots, applesauce cup and milk.

Softball Camp fliers for softball players grades 1st through 4th are coming home in bags this week.  Camp will be Saturday, March 25th at the MS Gyms in Roland.  Deadline for sign up is Friday, March 10th. The softball team is once again selling Roland-Story apparel and gear.  There are 40+ non-sport/non-year specific items on the website (including youth items). All items are purchased online and shipped directly to you, while still being able to support your favorite softball player from the dropdown menu. We are raising funds for a new bunker drag. R-S PTO Presents: School Staff Monthly Recognition Program

Let's recognize teachers, staff and administrators who demonstrate dedication, professionalism, excellence and FUN in the classroom! Anyone can nominate anyone – a student can nominate a teacher, a teacher can nominate a bus driver, a parent can nominate a member of the lunch staff, etc. There are NO SMALL gestures that shouldn't go noticed. Each month, a winner will be drawn from each school to receive a gift card to a local place of their choosing provided by the RS PTO. The new comedy 80 for Brady, starring Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Sally Field and Rita Moreno, will be held over at the Story Theater in Story City IA Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10 and 11. Showings are scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., with special matinees on Saturday at 2:30 and 4:45 p.m. THERE WILL BE NO SUNDAY SHOWINGS DU E TO THE BIG GAME.
