We're thrilled to update you on the progress of the stadium renovation project at Roland-Story! We’re committed to creating a top-notch facility for our students, athletes, marching band, cheerleaders, and the entire community to enjoy. Here's an overview of our accomplishments so far:
200 additional bleacher seats have been installed, ensuring that more of you can cheer on our teams!
750 feet of new retaining wall has been put in place, enhancing the structural integrity of the stadium.
The concession stand restroom facility is taking shape, with walls and a roof now in place.
Site grading and drainage have been executed, providing excellent water management and preserving the stadium's overall condition.
Field irrigation has been installed, ensuring that our field remains in top shape throughout the season.
The track sub-base and asphalt have been skillfully laid, enabling our track and field athletes to train and compete at the highest level.
We've laid down fresh grass sod, transforming the stadium into a green oasis.
The long-jump runways and pits are now in place, creating optimal conditions for our athletes to excel in their events.
While the construction process has presented a few unforeseen challenges, we're pleased to announce that the project remains on budget. Our team is working hard to ensure that every dollar is well spent and that we deliver an exceptional facility that meets your expectations.
Despite a tight schedule from the start and some delays caused by summer rains, the project remains on track. We are fully committed to hosting football games this fall, providing a state-of-the-art venue.
Thank you for your patience and support throughout this journey.
