🎉 Please give a warm welcome to Kara DeRidder! She joins Roland-Story as a full-time substitute teacher.
Kara grew up in Story City and now resides in Roland. She graduated from Buena Vista University in 2008, majoring in education and social work. In addition, she holds a healthcare degree from a small college in Wyoming.
Kara and her husband, Travis, are celebrating 12 years of marriage together. Their family includes three wonderful children. Beyond the classroom, Kara enjoys bike riding, crafting, and decorating.
Kara looks forward to “meeting and getting to know students and staff across all grade levels! Everyday will be a new adventure!” Let the adventure begin, Kara! ❤️📚
