Meet Matt Price, who joined us as a high school science teacher this school year! 🔬
He lives in Ames with his wife, Julie, and their three daughters: Annika (18), Anessa (13), and Addison (11). As a family, they love spending time outdoors, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, camping, and fishing together.
When he’s not cheering on his daughters at their activities, you’ll find Matt on the golf course or hanging out with the family dogs, Buddy and Ollie. 🐶
“Everyone from the students to the staff has been incredibly welcoming and supportive,” he says. “I am especially grateful for the positive and curious energy the students bring to the classroom every day.”

Jalyn and her husband, Austin, have been married for five years and are proud parents to two daughters. Their family also includes Winston, a four-year-old golden retriever. Together, they love spending time outdoors golfing, camping, and paddle boarding, as well as enjoying time with loved ones.

Emma is a nationally recognized mental health advocate who has shared her story of resilience to inspire hope and raise awareness. She has been featured in the documentary “My Ascension,” as well as on national TV programs. 🌟
Families, students, staff, and community members are invited to attend this powerful event. Join us at the Mental Health Expo (515 Clark Avenue in Ames) from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Emma’s presentation begins at 7:00pm.
