Roland-Story Community School District is pleased to welcome Kyle Formanek as the next principal of Roland-Story High School, beginning in the 2026-27 school year! 🎉

Mr. Formanek brings a strong background in school leadership, most recently serving as a middle school principal in the Le Mars Community School District since 2023. He previously served as associate principal at Le Mars Community High School, where he supported building leadership, student discipline, attendance systems, and instructional improvement.

The district looks forward to the positive impact Mr. Formanek will have on our high school community.

We invite our community to join us for the next Community Conversations session on Monday, May 11 as we begin discussing our 5-Year Facility Plan. This is an opportunity to hear about our vision, ask questions, and share your thoughts before the Board of Education continues its work.

The conversation will take place from 5:00 to 5:30pm in the Board Room at the high school, with the formal board meeting immediately following at 5:30pm.
