The Roland-Story Community School District will ask voters to extend the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) for another 10 years. Supported by local residents for nearly 40 years, PPEL is a critical source of funding for our schools.
𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙡 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙭 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨.

Our next School Board meeting is Monday, August 10th, at 5:30pm. This regular meeting will take place at Roland-Story High School. 🏫 Community Conversations are open to the public from 5:00-5:30!

REGISTRATION REMINDER: All students, including returning preschool and kindergarten, should complete online registration by following steps 1-4 at: https://www.rolandstory.school/o/rscsd/page/registration-enrollment.
Walk-in registration will be held Tuesday, August 11, from 4:00 to 6:00pm in the High School Commons. Staff will be available to assist. 🤝
Student schedules and teacher assignments can be viewed in JMC.
Need help? The district office is open all summer. School building offices reopened on Aug 3rd.

✏️Need school supplies for the 26-27 school year? Fill out the Blast Back to School form! The Blast Back to School event helps K-12 students in Story County start the school year strong by providing free backpacks and school supplies. To receive them, you need to register ahead of time.
🎒Backpacks can be picked up August 11th in the high school commons from 4-6pm.
📚 Thanks to the incredible support of local businesses, donors, and volunteers, BBTS collects and distributes supplies to families who need them most. It's all free - just make sure you sign up!

⛳️🏆 Congratulations to Brinley Carlson!
Roland-Story 2026 graduate Brinley Carlson has been named the IGCA Class 2A Co-Player of the Year!
Brinley finished the season ranked #1 in Class 2A and capped off her outstanding career with a 5th-place finish at the Iowa Girls State Golf Tournament. Throughout her time as a Norse golfer, she has helped lead Roland-Story to multiple conference, regional, and state championships while establishing herself as one of the most accomplished golfers in school history.
Her impressive list of accomplishments includes All-State honors, academic recognition, conference and regional medals, team MVP awards, and numerous school records.
Brinley’s commitment to excellence has left a lasting mark on the Roland-Story Girls Golf program. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and look forward to seeing what the future holds.
Congratulations, Brinley, on this well-deserved honor! ❤️🖤⛳
